JG Customs is in a beta/launch phase. Some policies (warranty duration, deposits, final rates) are still being finalized and will be confirmed in writing on your invoice or before work begins.

These Terms govern services provided by JG Customs LLC ("JG Customs", "we", "us") in Manchester Center, Vermont, and the use of this website and app. By requesting service or using this site, you agree to these Terms.

1. Estimates and pricing

Initial prices are estimates based on the information available before work begins. Costs may change if diagnosis or disassembly reveals additional damage, incorrect parts, or work not visible initially. Any significant change will be communicated to you before we continue. The final invoice reflects the actual work performed.

2. Diagnostics

Diagnostic and inspection time represents skilled labor and may be charged even if you choose not to proceed with the repair. Any diagnostic or travel charge is confirmed before the appointment.

3. Customer-supplied parts

We may install parts you supply after reviewing them. We do not warrant the quality, compatibility, durability, or manufacturer warranty of customer-supplied parts, and we do not warrant a customer part failing or breaking during installation. Additional labor caused by incorrect, defective, or incomplete customer-supplied parts may be charged separately. Labor rates may differ when the customer supplies parts.

4. Parts we supply

When we source parts for an approved repair, cost, availability, and lead time are communicated to you. Parts availability may affect appointment timing.

5. Warranty

Any workmanship warranty, its duration and its limits, will be stated in writing on the applicable invoice. Where no written warranty is stated, no specific warranty duration is implied. We do not use absolute promises such as "lifetime guaranteed" or "will never fail again."

6. Mobile service

Mobile service is subject to feasibility. Some jobs require a lift, indoor space, specialized equipment, a level and safe surface, or protection from weather, and may need to be moved to another location. We confirm feasibility before accepting a mobile repair. A safe, legal work area is the customer's responsibility.

7. Payment

Accepted payment methods are confirmed at the time of service. Sales tax is applied to taxable parts and materials as required by Vermont law; separately stated labor is generally not taxed. Deposits, when required, are agreed in advance.

8. Scheduling and changes

Appointments are arranged by agreement. If additional problems are found during work, we will notify you before performing significant additional repairs. Please give reasonable notice to reschedule.

9. Limitation of liability

We perform work with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by law, JG Customs is not liable for pre-existing conditions, unrelated failures, or damage arising from customer-supplied parts, prior improper repairs, or continued operation of a vehicle after warning signs appear. Diagnosis reflects the symptoms and results present at the time of inspection; other faults may exist or appear later.

10. Changes to these terms

Because JG Customs is growing, these Terms may be updated. The current version is always available here. The terms confirmed in writing on your invoice govern that specific job.

Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you contact us or request service, we collect the details you provide: name, phone, email, vehicle information, location, and a description of the problem. For completed work we keep invoice and receipt records.

How we use it

We use your information only to provide and document automotive services, communicate with you, and meet tax and recordkeeping obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

Your receipts and retention

In the client area, your receipts are available to you for 3 months, after which they are removed from your view — download any you wish to keep. JG Customs retains its own business and tax records for longer as required by law.

Sign-in

The upcoming client area will let you sign in with Google. We receive only basic profile information (name, email, profile photo) to identify your account; we never receive your Google password.
